We launched our brand in the month of February 2021 with the sole purpose of bringing in sustainability into the stationery industry. Approximately sixteen thousand trees are being felled daily with a significant percentage used to make paper and pencils. Single use plastic pens add on to the endless pile of plastic waste generated by us contributing to pollution and climate change.
So, as global citizens first and business enthusiasts later, we sought out to find solutions to building a climate positive product and contribute towards a circular economy.

We borrowed the RE from Reduce-Reuse-Recycle and combined it to SCRIPT and named our brand RESCRIPT.

Naren comes with vast experience as a third generation entrepreneur of a reputed family business in the fields of silk's trading, finance, operations and customer relations. Naren strongly believes that sustainability has to be incorporated at a subconscious level. He actively follows current affairs and always enjoys a game of cricket.

Ashutosh is an alumnus of Christ university and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, he co-founded an instant food company prior to Rescript. His passion towards bridging sustainability and business led him co-found Rescript. He also has a lot of experience in the FMCG sector. He is an avid networker and enjoys playing the ukulele.
